The Green Screen Technique

How to use the Green Screen technique in Photoshop.
Start with your photo either taken in front of a green screen
or a logo or shape with a green background.

And open your photo you are going to place it on.
Select the Green Screen Image using your Rectangular Marquee Tool and
copy and paste it to your photo.

You can move and size the green screen object any where on your photo.
To get rid of the green select your magic wand tool which is the fourth one down on your toolbox. Take the wand and put it over the green area this will highlight all the green.

After you have done that just simply hit the delete key on your keyboard this
will delete all the surrounding green in your picture.

And now you have the finished product enjoy.

Text Effects Part 3 Texture

We are going to be learning how to add Texture to your Text.

Start with selecting the type tool (or use the T key on your keyboard) and Type your text anyway you would like.

Once you complete that step look over to the layers pane and make sure the text layer is selected. At the Bottom of the pane there is a small effects button.
Select that button and several text effects come up. Click on the one you want to use.
For this tutorial I'm going to show you how to add Texture.
(to see the others visit my other parts to this series.)

Click Bevel and Emboss and select Texture below it.
Click on the Pattern box and you will have a choice for the pattern of texture you want to use. Choose the one you want. In the red box I marked, Scale and Depth you can use this to size your desired amount of texture for your text.

If it doesn't show any Patterns to choose from

Click on the Pattern box again

Click on the arrow on the right and a menu will drop down then select one of the options I highlighted in the red box. This should add more patterns to your collection.
