We are going to be learning how to add shadow to your Text.
Start with selecting the type tool (or use the T key on your keyboard) and Type your text anyway you would like.
Once
you complete that step look over to the layers pane and make sure the
text layer is selected. At the Bottom of the pane there is a small
effects button.
Select that button and several text effects come up. Click on the one you want to use.
For this tutorial I'm going to show you how to add Shadow.
(to see the others visit my other parts to this series.)
Select Drop Shadow, and make sure the Blend Mode is Multiply and you can choose your color of shadow, I'm going to use black. The Opacity should be set to 75% to 100% for a good shadow. The Shadow size is depended upon what your needs are. In the red box are the Distance, Spread, and Size. You can adjust the size of your shadow the way you want it. You can also change your desired angel of the shadow simply by typing in the angle of shadow you want.
