How to Add a Filter

There are many different filters you can add to your project or photo.
Filters can make all kinds of neat effects to your photo.
Start by clicking Filter on your toolbar and select Filter Gallery

This is the Filter Gallery tool. There are many different Filters to choose from you can add texture here or make it look like a water color painting. You decide what you want your photo to look like.

A Simple Tip: On how to make your photo pop.

A simple way to make your photo stand out is by adjusting the curves.

To do this click on Image on the toolbar and select Adjustments. Then select Curves.

The Curves dialog box is going to appear. Click on the drop down menu by Preset: and select Medium Contrast. This will make the colors look more vivid in your Photo.
Thank you

Text Effects Part 2 Adding Shadow

We are going to be learning how to add shadow to your Text.

Start with selecting the type tool (or use the T key on your keyboard) and Type your text anyway you would like.

Once you complete that step look over to the layers pane and make sure the text layer is selected. At the Bottom of the pane there is a small effects button.
Select that button and several text effects come up. Click on the one you want to use.
For this tutorial I'm going to show you how to add Shadow.
(to see the others visit my other parts to this series.)

Select Drop Shadow, and make sure the Blend Mode is Multiply and you can choose your color of shadow, I'm going to use black. The Opacity should be set to 75% to 100% for a good shadow. The Shadow size is depended upon what your needs are. In the red box are the Distance, Spread, and Size. You can adjust the size of your shadow the way you want it. You can also change your desired angel of the shadow simply by typing in the angle of shadow you want.
